I haven't posted since
Bubba died, or since I got the boot from Dale Creek. No, I haven't been sitting in my room crying eating ice cream, watching sad movies. I have moved on and the only thing that stinks is that I have to drive by Dale Creek to get to my new stable. Dale Creek, was only the door that shut that opened another. Now I am riding at two stables every Tuesday and Thursday. I am regularly riding, Stuffer, a Thoroughbred ex-level two dressage horse, who is coming around. She is mostly behaved, when I first started working with her she wouldn't even let me catch her. Today she stood still completely still for me. I cantered her a little today, she's stiff on the left lead, and super fast on the right lead, but that will get better when I ride her more. I also ride Diana and Henry's horse Hunk, Jamie calls him my boyfriend. I just love to ride that horse, his canter is
soooo smooth, and because he's a Tennessee Walking Horse he has a gait which is also smooth. Henry had told me that in all the years he has owned Hunk he's never trotted him or seen him trot. I trotted Hunk today :), I don't think he liked it but I trotted him. So I am doing fine, without Dale Creek. I still have moments where I am like I JUST WANT TO RIDE, I'M DONE HANGING OUT WITH MY FAMILY I WANT TO GO RIDE!!! But I am riding which is better than not riding at all, so I'm good. I want to say thank you to Jamie for helping me ride, and giving me all these
opportunities to ride :).
